Why Choose Us?
Daily Care and Turnouts
At Clean Flight Equestrian, you can be certain that your horse is turned out daily, groomed daily, and has his or her stall cleaned and bedded daily. Our facility has nine all-weather turns outs, and we always dress your horse with seasonally appropriate turn out boots, sheets, and fly masks. If inclement weather closes the turnouts, we will hand walk your horse.
Feeding
Your horse will enjoy unlimited high-quality grass and/or alfalfa hay, fed three times daily. We can also feed owner-provided grain and supplements and are happy to work with you to design a customized nutrition program for your horse.
Training Schedule
Mimi’s training program includes five lessons, training rides, and/or longes a week—find the right balance for you and your horse! The program is flexible, and we can always add more lessons or rides to meet your needs.
Showing
Clean Flight Equestrian attends monthly A-rated horse shows around Northern California. While showing is a fun and exciting activity, it is not required. If you or your horse stays home, Mimi’s staff will maintain the high quality of riding and care you are accustomed to.
Staffing
Mimi employs a team who meet her exacting standards for horsemanship and ethical behavior. On top of that, the barn owner and barn staff live on-site, ensuring that someone is always looking after your horse.
Health & Emergency
We coordinate vet care, farrier care, and bodywork, making certain your horse is always in the best health. We can also provide rehabilitative care, medication, and wound management.
If your horse is injured or falls ill, Clean Flight Equestrian is only an hour and a half away from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in Davis, CA, and the Pioneer Equine Hospital in Oakdale, CA. We are happy to provide after-hours emergency care for your horse and to help arrange medical transport if necessary.
